- Performance Management
- Problem Solving and Decision Making
- Influencing skills
- Developing Effective Leadership
- Interpersonal Skills
- Coaching Skills for Managers
- and so on.
I have experiencing of delivering leadership/management programmes at a variety of levels:
- First line managers – Introduction to Management type programmes and ILM Qualifications;

Other Support and Development
Action learning set advising/facilitation as stand-alone interventions or as programme adjuncts;
Leadership Development Process Groups – this is an area I will be looking to develop over coming months. Process groups will work with participants’ underlying psychological processes and combine: T group type process intervention; Transactional Analysis models and techniques: and self reflection - this approach puts the process focus firmly back in Action Learning type groups;
Competency identification and development through focus groups, interviews, critical incident technique and other approaches;
Supporting development of values based leadership development and interventions for leadership groups leading change.
My approach to Leadership Development starts with the premise that effective leadership of others arises from ability to know and manage self. Management techniques and knowledge can be gleaned relatively easily from textbooks and manuals. Excellent leaders however have mastered the ability to overcome their self limiting beliefs arising from past influences and antecedents – in other words they have developed their own autonomy and are capable of leading and inspiring that in others.
Please get in touch to discuss any aspects of your leadership and management development needs.
